Gape was born from the intuition of two young sisters who transformed a personal bond to the scope into a contemporary business project.

From a very young age, they had the possibility to explore the qualities of flexible polyurethane foam, observing its evolution thanks to the family business. Giulia and Anna thus developed a special sensitivity to this extraordinarily ductile material.

For them, what could simply be considered as an industrial product stands for memory, experimentation and creative potential.

Riccardo Giovanetti has designed all Gape collections starting from the idea of creating upholstered pieces that can freely be arranged within domestic spaces.

They are flexible and dynamic objects in both form and function, and they can be transformed through simple gestures. Gape embodies a representation of a dynamic and nomadic conception of contemporary living.
